Proverbs 30
As we near the end of Proverbs, there are 4 things I have learned, 5 or more that I should have listened to: 30:8-9 "Keep deception and lies far from me, Give me neither poverty nor riches; Feed me with the food that is my portion, that I not be full and deny {You} and say, "Who is the LORD?" Or that I not be in want and steal, And profane the name of my God." Staying balanced is crucial. The Lord has given me what He has given me. I'd like to think that I would not dishonor the Lord if either thing happened, but He knows what is best for me. In that I will trust.
Have a blessed day!

prov 30:8-9 This scripture really speaks to me lately. As Greg and I purchase a new house and try to put furniture in it, we are reminded to stay balanced and only buy what we need instead of things we may desire ( like flat screen tvs and electronic gadgets) We are praying about every purchase. I don't want to have so much that I may not have to rely on the Lord in the way I have always had to. Seeing him provide food and items that we have needed has always been right on time and a small miracle in itself. I only want enough to provide for my family but not so much that We may think we don't need Him. God you are good and have always met our needs, now as our situation is changing a little I pray that we would be 100% dependent on you and seek you in all decisions.
